A women’s pfblog network
So I’ve been kicking around this idea for months now, but haven’t come to any solid conclusions. So I figured why not just ask?
If you’re a woman, would you have any interest in a blogging network specifically for female personal finance bloggers? If so, what would you like to see in it? What would you like to avoid? I’ll start this if there’s enough interest.

I’d be interested in a women’s blog network. The types of things I’d be interested in reading/writing about are how women have built their own monetary identity, budgeting for the single woman, things single women do to be frugal while having expensive things (my obsession with Coach), etc.
I think its a great idea!

I too would be interested in a women’s pfblog network. And I would like to see some articles that are very women-centric. For example, grooming and shopping on a budget, financial difficulties / adjustments that go with a second marriage etc. And rather than seeing lists of how/what-to-do, I would prefer more of real-life examples. Lastly I am based in the UK, so a more global approach to finances would be appreciated.

I think it is a great idea. I honestly don’t know what I’d want to see in it, I’ll have to think on it. I’m not a girly girl so I am probably no use :)

Sounds interesting. Could include reviews of books aimed at women, lists of resources for single women, single mothers, women preparing for college, women wanting to run businesses, tax advice…As a feminist, I recognize that although men and women “deal” with the same issues, we have often different approaches and face different issues.

Yes I would be interested.
I’d like to see being a Mom and finances–raising financially responsible children.
Being a Mom and finances.
Buying a home, as a single woman.

Definitely interested – I might even start a PF blog and participate in the network (I currently just write a wedding planning blog but I’m really interested in personal finance.)
I would like to see more about how women should handle finances in various different common situations for females: how to merge finances without losing your financial identity when you cohabitate or get married, how to budget as a single mother, a young single with no kids, an older single with no kids, a wife with step-children, a woman caring for aging parents, a young woman in college etc. I also love the idea of a global approach (I live in Canada) and the suggestion above on grooming and shopping on a budget.

I’d be interested.
My blog sort of does that now… I do lots of posts on shopping on a budget, grooming, woman-centric, as a married woman with no kids….
I also have a global perspective — I’m Canadian ;) So I talk a lot about RRSPs…

It sure looks like there’s plenty of interest, so I’ll go ahead and set up the network :)

Count me in, too. I’m very interested. What a great way to network.
I’ve been writing books about women and money for a decade, but I’m a new blogger on PF for women.
Thanks for creating this!
