		<description>With things like this, I tend not to think about it in terms of financial frugality, but environmental frugality. It make sense as we only have limited resources and should take care of it.

Good idea about the toothbrushing. Perhaps using a glass collect the water may help as well.</description>

		<description>I'm so glad someone else is having the same (slightly) mad thoughts! Here in England, or at least in Cumbria where I live, our water is also metered and we pay for our useage. (It isn't in all parts of the UK.) I was thinking about this one day and decided that if in our household we turned taps on and off while brushing our teeth, rather than just letting them run, we might save a little. So that's what we do now. I suppose it's just a few bucketfuls a month, but it helps me to feel better about our water costs and our environmental impact. So thank you for making me feel we're not completely crazy!</description>
