American Association of Individual Investors
Is anyone a member of this, and if so, is it worth it? I had no idea it even existed until a few days ago. I checked out the American Association of Individual Investors web site and it looks like they have a small amount of free content, some content that you have to register to view, and still more content that you get access to when you join (at a fee).

I was a member for a while in the 90’s. It was too much information for me at the time, and I just didn’t use it enough to make it worthwhile. But, I wouldn’t say it’s not worth it for some people– those who manage their own investments, own more than a few funds or stocks, and who do a lot of research. I probably wouldn’t sign up for it today, as I’ve gone to mostly an indexing strategy and online research has become so much more available for free. But it is certainly legit and potentially useful.
