April 15th is coming…
If you’re in the U.S., that date is important for more than one reason. Of course, it’s tax day (so be sure to get your taxes or an extension filed if you owe.) But it’s also the deadline for making 2007 contributions to your Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, and to children’s Coverdell Education Savings Accounts. (See the IRS web site for more information about Coverdell ESAs.)
If you’re eligible to make a contribution to any of those accounts, this is your last chance to do so for 2007. (And then you’ll still have the next twelve months to do so again for 2008.)
