I was looking at my credit card balances and I could not remember nor did I have any idea what I had charged to create a balance of 48K on 2 cards. To add salt to the wound, I realized that the interest charges on the two cards totaled more than my car payment. My first real budget started that day ( 4 years ago) and today I have ZERO credit card debt. I remember it well.
