Election day deals
It’s election day in the U.S., so please vote if you’re eligible to do so. If you’re unsure of your polling place, you can check this polling place finder or do a search for “polling places” + the name of your state or county to find other sites that will direct you to the proper location. If you need time off work to vote, talk to your employer about it. Here’s a link to state-by-state voting laws.
I’d recommend bringing a book and a snack plus some water with you in case lines are long. Once you’ve voted, you’re eligible for these election day deals at participating stores:
- Krispy Kreme stores are giving away a star-shaped doughnut to people with their “I voted” sticker on.
- Starbucks is giving away a free cup of tall brewed coffee to people who come in and tell them they’ve voted.
