Endless project & a quick link-hop
It’s been one of those weeks for me. I had great aspirations of accomplishing a lot this week, but instead I spent way more time than I had anticipated on a single project. (Completing the re-do of the hall bathroom.) Yeah, in an attempt to save $600 I have spent more hours than I actually want to count. At least I’m building muscles in the process. It would have been cheaper, time and energy-wise, to just pay someone else to finish up the project. Unfortunately that’s one of those things you only realize when it’s way too late to do so. Have you ever had a project like that? Finding a balance between time & money is a tough one for me.
I really haven’t had time to do much reading this week (I didn’t even have time to see how my money was doing, which is probably a good thing) so this will be just a quick roundup. Here are a few articles:
- Awake at the Wheel asks, “Are you living a significant life?” I love his daily list.
- Squawkfox offers some Halloween costume ideas.
- Quest for Four Pillars thinks that not selling is the same as buying when it comes to market drops.
- Canadian Capitalist debates rethinking their bond exposure.
- Clever Dude stopped complaining for 7 days.
- MoneyNing goes on a journey of self-discovery about his own buying habits.
