Grateful moments
I needed to go to the hospital for some tests recently. As I was preparing to go, I wondered how much my copay would be. But I didn’t go to the trouble of looking it up or calling to ask about it ahead of time, because I knew the maximum amount it might be.
Of course I hoped that the copay would be small, because I don’t want to spend money, but knowing that I could pay even the maximum amount if necessary was nice. I didn’t have to be stressing about it.
What a change from just a few years ago, and from most of my adult life prior to that.

Isn’t that the truth. I too, sometimes, take for granted the easier road my life is on now. Instead, I should be savoring it and enjoying this beautiful life. Not to mention taking comfort in the lessons learned on the way to this road.

I hope the tests turn out ok; it’s definitely a blessing to be able to just take care of your health and not wonder if you can afford to.
