The vet told me to prepare myself, but I still did my best to get him to eat, (so that his body could fight whatever was making him ill) I bought the most savoury food I could find (1/4 tin of Fancy Feast was all he could eat for a while) and Pedialyte administered with a syringe. He turned around eventually, and is now a healthy 14 year old cat! Good luck with yours, hopefully she'll pull through as well. Love your blog, I've learned alot! But what a sense of accomplishment that must have been to know you had the money to tend to your cat. :) These kind of stories inspire me to keep plugging away... because in a time of despair i'll be able to support myself!
