How? I was contacted by Matchstick, the company who’s coordinating a promotion for the new 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan minivan where moms in various cities get to test drive the vans for a week. So for a week I’ll be driving in the lap of luxury.

This Grand Caravan has everything under the sun: keyless entry, swivel seats, doors that open automatically when you double click a button on the remote, automatic start (which would come in incredibly handy here in the summers to get the AC going before you get in the car), satellite radio & TV, DVD players, 3 TVs, wireless headphones, iPod jacks, a backup camera, a table, etc. One of its seats even does gymnastics for you: folding down into the floor, folding up, and flipping around to face the back of the car for tailgate parties. You just press a button and it goes! Very cool.

I was a little intimidated at first by all of the things it could do, since I’m the kind of person that has yet to figure out how to work the remote for our TV, but it turns out that everything is very intuitive and easy to use. (Without even cracking open the manual.) It drives very nicely too. And the money blogger in me is thrilled about the week with no wear & tear on my car ;)
