It’s garage sale time here

Summer is the usual time for garage sales in many parts of the country, but here it’s spring & fall that gets the best results (because people aren’t melting from the heat).

We are headed to a big rummage sale in the area this morning. I don’t know that I will buy anything, but I like to look. When I do buy, I tend to buy things that can be resold easily — like musical instruments. I’m always happy when I run across one of those for $20-$30. Otherwise I just view the sales as a morning out/free entertainment. (Of course the vague hope for undiscovered artwork worth millions makes it fun too. You never know, right?)
