It’s what you need

You may have heard the Paulo Coelho quote that says, “When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” I really believe that this is true. But even if you don’t feel the same way, chances are that you’ve experienced something like this:

  • You’re thinking of buying a certain kind of car, and suddenly you see them everywhere you go.
  • You’re really hungry, and all you see are ads for food.
  • You’re itching to go on vacation, and you see travel-related emails

Probably the things you’re interested in aren’t magically appearing everywhere you look, but because you’re interested in them, you pay more attention to them when you might not have even noticed otherwise.

You can take advantage of that phenomenon to get exactly what you need. If you want to learn about investing, start thinking a lot about investing. If you want to get out of debt, spend time every day thinking about how you’re going to get out of debt, and so on. Read up on the subject, tell others you’re interested in the subject, etc.

Even if you don’t know what you need to know at this point, you’ll get there by starting to concentrate on it.

That happens to me, too. I think when you open your mind to new possibilities, your senses get more attuned to what you want. It’s probably some survival-related trait that got passed on from the cavemen. But if you can use it to your advantage, why not try it? I’ve wanted to become more proficient with making money online, so I’ll give it a shot.
