January 2007 update
This month’s net worth is up, due mostly to money trickling in that was owed to me. I’m working on getting the liabilities down. My goal is to get them down to under $1000, which would amount to my typical credit card balance at the end of each month. (I pay it off mid-month.) Here is the update:
Assets: Up $3901.45
Liabilities: Down $499.40
Change in net worth over previous month: Up $4400.85
Spending-wise, even though it feels like I spent a whole ton, I actually spent about $200 less than the previous month. This makes January my new lowest-spending month. I probably feel like I spent a lot because I didn’t do well AT ALL on my eating-out challenge, and because I bought a lot of clothes. I love my new wardrobe though! Let’s hope the trend toward a reduction in spending and an increase in income continues.
