Labor Day shopping

We stayed home over Labor Day weekend, but I did venture out to the mall. My goal was the Gap, which sells pretty much the only kinds of jeans that usually fit me. Since all but one of my old jeans are still off touring the world without me in our missing luggage, I wanted to get another pair. I was prepared to pay the usual $40 + tax, so I was overjoyed to find out that jeans were on sale at the outlet for $14.99 a pair. That’s like thrift store prices (which I’d also hit up recently). How was your Labor Day weekend?

What?!?! Gap jeans in the US cost $40??? I am getting ripped off. They’re over $80 in Canada, and that is most certainly not due to the exchange rate. Grrrr @ the Gap.

Well, they are usually $40 at the outlet. I have no idea what they would be at the regular Gap.
