Link hopping: Glad it’s Saturday edition
It’s been one of those weeks for me. Expensive, stressful, and sad. So after all that, I’m glad it’s Saturday. Maybe I can get a chance to relax. I did still find a little time last week to check out some links:
My favorites were from the Cheap Healthy Good blog. While this is mostly a food-related blog, the money part does come into play as well. (Hence the “cheap”, I assume.) At any rate, CHG wrote Life Skills 101: A Curriculum for Food, Finance, and Other Real World Basics and the sequel, Life Skills 102: Advanced Adulthood (Write This Down). Seriously cool ideas.
And from the PFN:
Quest for Four Pillars talks about buying in bulk. There are pros and cons to doing this, but I find that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages if you are careful about what you buy.
Canadian Capitalist asks just how many asset classes does a portfolio need? (I didn’t even know that there were as many as 20 asset classes.)
Cleve Dude wants to know: what do you think is rich? I think he’s right that perception of wealth is relative.
MoneyNing decides to live extremely frugally for a week. Take a look and see how he did it and what the results were.
Squawkfox makes me hungry with a post about summer sweet and fresh tomatoes.
