Hopefully the cat will feel more comfortable with the “home” scent of the scratcher. Or you could try spraying some of that catnip scented stuff on it. Or even buy catnip and rub it into the fabric.

Heh, no way Nan Patience. If I had gone I would have felt so guilty about being in Walmart in the first place that I wouldn’t have even glanced at the other stuff.

I’d be willing to bet that had you gone to WalMart, you would have spotted several other additional items and, thinking you were saving big, ended up with a cart full of stuff that added up to $50 – $100.

I think looking around the house is something people should do first. If there’s no reason to spend the money then why do it? I would routinely buy extra food rather than look at home first. We are now slowly going through all the extra bags of spices I bought because I didn’t look at home first. This goes for all of the other things you make at home.
