May 2009 update
Doing my net worth update a tiny bit early this month (normally I’d wait until tomorrow) because I’m too wiped out from yesterday’s scuba to think of something more interesting for today.
(Who knew I was so out of shape that a few hours in the lake could leave me so tired & sore? And we have more scuba today!)
Anyway my assets will be off by hm, maybe $60 but that’s not enough of a difference to change the trend.
I’m happy to report that my net worth is up for the month, despite a larger amount of spending than normal.
Maybe this will start a new trend of the stock market being partially responsible for positive changes.
It would sure be nice if all those months of me buying and then watching my purchases immediately be wiped out paid off would be counteracted.
So, here are the numbers:
Assets: Up $5176.65
Liabilities: Up $348.69
Change in net worth over previous month: Up $4827.96
This was really a pleasant surprise, one that I hope repeats itself often. (Although I’d like it to skip the larger amount of spending than normal, unless that were to also be accompanied by a significantly larger amount of income than normal.)
