Mindful money
I believe that you get more of what you focus on. If you’re focused on what you don’t have, you’ll see more lack. If you’re focused on what you do have, you’ll see more abundance. This certainly applies to money. I don’t mean to say that we should spend our time obsessing about money or staring at hundred dollar bills. I do think though that we should be mindful of what we chose to use our money for. I want to make sure that what I spend my money on adds to my life in some positive way, and (likewise) that what I choose not to spend my money on has a positive result. I have to say though, that lately it seems like my problem is focusing period.
To that end, I’ve narrowed down my area of focus for the foreseeable future to just three things:
1. My family
2. My business
3. This blog
What kinds of things are you most mindful of, either when it comes to spending money or in general?
