New projects

This has been a hectic week for me, which is kind of ironic since the things I’ve been focusing on MOST over the past couple of weeks are not doing too much and planning out my time. Oh well! Tomorrow is another day, says my Scarlett O’Hara alter-ego.

One of my projects is having an app developed for the iPhone/Touch. I don’t want to go into details about it right now, but this is an experiment for me in many ways. I’m practicing outsourcing and stepping back, neither of which are normal for me.

My natural inclination would have been to add something like “Buy a Mac and learn Cocoa” to my to-do list. Instead, I’m sticking to the planning phases and interacting with the developers I found thanks to Cliff.

I do have “find a Mac” on my to do list, but that’s for my son’s eventual use. (At least in part.)

I am slowly learning that sometimes doing less can lead to actually finishing more, hopefully with improved financial success. Ok, enough about me. Here are a few links that might interest you:

I agree! Planning is probably the single-most important part of achieving your goals and getting your finances in order. Many people don’t realize this and spend their lives wondering why they are spinning their wheels but getting nowhere.

Thanks for linking to the Presidential Giveaway at Christian Finance Blog, but not to be confused with ChristianPF (which is also a great blog, by the way!).
