Now THIS is what I’ve been waiting to see!

Actually, they owe me 77 cents, since apparently I overpaid a little bit when I sent in my last payment. My loan originally totaled about $19,000 when I finished graduate school in 1998. I’d deferred it and had it in forbearance several times over the years, and as of June of this year I still owed $9759.46 on it. But now, no more student loan! I will never have to pay that again. Boy did I love seeing the line that reads: Currently all of your loans are in the status of ‘Paid in Full’.
I’m not excited about this or anything ;)

Congratulations!
I’m not expecting to see my Direct Loans disappear any time in the next decade, but when I DO see that message, I’ll be shouting over hill and dale.
