Of motivation & procrastination

There’s nothing like going to work to motivate me to get our own business up and running instead. (Or ideally, in addition to work for a decent length of time.) I just wish the motivation lasted for more than an hour or so after I got home. It’s too easy to spend my time watching movies or reading articles like the ones below instead, even though I know that’s not what’s best in the long run. So I have started deliberately procrastinating instead, for a set period of time, and then moving on to what I really want to get done instead. This seems to be helping somewhat. I just need to do it consistently. If you’re up for some additional reading at the moment, here are some posts I found interesting:

This may have been out for awhile already, but I just discovered MSN Money’s Know the Value of Your Time calculator.

MoneyNing offers a six step guide to rebuilding your retirement. I think we could all use that right about now.

And yes, I know Christmas is past, but Four Pillars’ Last Minute Cheap Gift Guide is still funny.

Thanks for the link! I love having meals in my freezer… even if I cook them much less than once a month.
