Ok, we’ve gotten the message

The message that we need to beef up our “appliances” fund, that is. (Really it’s more of an appliances/household/pets fund, but that’s too long of a name.)

Our poor cat is sick. They still don’t know what she has, but they’ve run a series of tests (blood tests and x-rays) and they know a lot of things that it’s not. They’re running a test on some fluid that was drawn now and we should know something soon.

Unfortunately, two out of the three things that it could be are very bad. I hope that she makes it. Meanwhile, she’s on a couple of different medications and we’ll just have to wait and see.

And work on replenishing our fund. Clearly it needs to be about twice the size, so that one thing going wrong doesn’t make such a dent in it.

Best wishes for your cat. We just spent $600 having a growth removed from our rescued pug…I feel your pain.

Thanks, she is doing a little better so we’re cautiously optimistic.
