I can get a McMansion for the low price of $1500/m. It'll take 40 years to pay off? No problem, cuz the monthly payments are affordable! (I just hope that interest rates never go up.) My new BMW was also a fantastic deal. It costs more than I make before taxes in a single year... but boy it sure seems affordable every month. Great post.

They think that they can afford something even though they can't. That those interest rates won't be a big deal in the end. False. If you have the same attitude with paying your credit card bills, you will be in a lot of trouble. that's how debt piles up quickly. People need to be educated more on these practices.
