Price Protectr

I recently came across a forum link to a site called Price Protectr. It looks promising, offering a service that monitors pricedrops on items that you’ve bought from select online stores. The stores listed are: Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.uk, Backcountry.com, BestBuy.com, BestBuy.ca, Bike Nashbar, Circuit City, Cooking.com, Costco, Future Shop, Jenson USA, Office Max, Sears, and Target.

What do all of those stores have in common? They offer a 30-day price protection guarantee, meaning that if the price goes down during those 30 days, you get a refund of the difference. It’s been more than 30 days since I’ve bought anything at Amazon.com or Target.com (the only sites on the list that I shop at), so I can’t test it out myself, but it looks like a great idea. If you’ve tried it, let me know how it worked out.

Just wanted you to know I know someone who saved some money using this. I forwarded them your link, but they haven’t posted yet, I guess. I’m going to register, but I’m not planning to buy anything right away.
