How frugal are you?

I consider myself a fairly frugal person, as evidenced by the many times I’ve written about frugal things like:

The frugal way to unclog a drain
      Change your definition of normal
      Frugality is a habit
      Make frugality automatic
101 ways to reduce your spending and keep more of your money

But I love quizzes, so decided to make one of my own. If you take the quiz, let me know what you get. (If you’re reading this via RSS and want to take the quiz, you’ll need to click through first.)

  1. The newest iPhone comes out next week. How do you react?

  2. You're at a fast-food restaurant, and see a bin full of individually-packaged condiments.

  3. You get to the end of a bar of soap, and there are a couple of slivers left. What do you do?

  4. It's (literally) freezing outside. You:

  5. You're driving in your car.

  6. You're nearing the end of a tube of toothpaste. You:

Woo-Hoo! I’m Uber-frugal! I knew cutting open the toothpaste tube would make me famous someday!

BTW, my newest favorite frugal tip? Buy Viva paper towels, and throw them in the wash with your whites. They come out good as new!

Hmm, I meant use them, then throw them in the wash when you’re done. I’m still working on my first cup of rebrewed coffee here…..

I’m ‘Sometimes frugal, sometimes not’ which is fairly accurate.
I do splurge occasionally, I have to say.

Woo! I make frugality into an art form :). I *like* that description, not sure if it’s *totally* true, but I’ll take it :).

You’re the Opposite of Frugal – Yep this is me! I am not frugal, you only live once so why not enjoy life… yeah probably the reason why I have debt LOL

I’m the half way point which is good – Exactly where I want to be. I’m aware of my finances, but not afraid to buy things I want once in a while. : )

I too “make frugality into an art form…”

  11. # 11 Linda Says:

I too make frugality into an art form.

I ‘make frugality into an art form’, too. I had never thought of it this way, but there is definitely creativity involved in living frugally. We have to have a car because of living in a remote rural area, otherwise I might have been in the next category. We don’t drive unless it’s a necessity.

Another ‘frugalist into an art form’ here… which I already knew. ;-)

  14. # 14 a91030Mom Says:

I like most of you, make frugality into an art form.

  15. # 15 Karen Says:

Who knew I was so “artsy” as I make frugality into an art form. Yay!
