Reduce, reuse, rebicycle
Andy Gregg of Bike Furniture Design believes in all things bicycle. According to his web site, he’s been creating furniture made from recycled and reused bicycles since 1990. Some of his designs are really cool (such as the Children’s Museum Chair, pictured to the right, and the Vector XO Lounge Chair) and it’s obvious that he loves what he does. I’m pretty big on recycling, and it’s great to see people reusing items in innovative and artful ways. Plus, it’s a wonderful alternative to the sameness offered in so many stores. I think the world needs more of this type of imaginative recycling.
