Save by halves
One of the easiest ways to save money is to just plain use less. Some people may choose not to use these products at all, but if you’re going to use them you can still save money. Over the course of a typical year you could save $60 or more (depending on your usage) by doing the following things:
1. Rip your dryer sheets in half, saving 9 cents a load.
2. Use half the recommended amount of dishwasher detergent to save 8 cents a load.
3. Use half the recommended amount of laundry detergent to save 20 cents a load.
4. Rip paper towels in half, saving 60 cents a roll.
Looking for little, painless ways to save like this can really add up over time.
