The end might be in sight

The end might be in sight, and that’s a good thing! You see, I’ve been working 16 hour days for the past couple of weeks, six days a week, and it’s been starting to get to me. I used to do that all the time when I was in my late 20s/early 30s, but apparently getting a little older and completely cutting out caffeine makes those kinds of days harder to handle long-term. But I hope the result will be worth it!

One of the two large projects that I’ve been working on is nearly done with its initial phase. Next comes the waiting part, then the hoping part, and finally (with luck!) the making money part. Or it could be the moving-on-to-the-next-project part. We’ll see.

Even if it doesn’t pan out, I’ll at least be able to say that for once in my life I actually moved quickly and steadily on a project from start to completion. That’s a first for me, and a big step.

I did manage to squeeze in a little reading too though. Here are some articles that interested me:

Breaking Even writes about the $20K house.

Canadian Capitalist asks a good question: is there anything better than stocks?

Millionaire Mommy Next Door interviews a couple about their retire early lifestyle.

MoneyNing discusses the eternal pursuit of more wealth.

The Oblivious Investor (love the name) points out a classic mistake.

Squawkfox explains her mysterious absence: she’s been busy writing a book.

I remember those days and I’m still having those days. :)

So many articles have been printed, saying now is the time to start your own business. Why not?

Also once you have your finished product in your hand, all of these 16/18 hour days will have melted away. Once people start buying it, then a whole new wave of energy will hit.

Hopefully you’ll be able to share with us.

First, thanks for the link. :) And happy to hear that you like the name! I think a lot of people just don’t get it, hehe.

Second, can’t wait to hear what the project is. Great job building suspense! (whether you meant to or not) ;)

Congrats on reaching a milestone with your project — I wish you all the best with it!

Thanks for highlighting the interview on my blog.
