Update on the eyeglasses
I wrote recently about ordering a pair of emergency eyeglasses from Zenni Optical. We received the pair of glasses, and they seemed exactly like any other pair of eyeglasses you might buy elsewhere. They came in a hard plastic case, and included a soft cloth for cleaning. They actually arrived significantly sooner than the web site estimated. I think we got them about 4 days after ordering instead of the estimated two weeks. They looked pretty good on my husband too, so I was very happy with the pair. At a total of $12.95 with shipping for the pair, it was more than worth it. I’ll definitely be ordering from there again.

I ordered my glasses from an online place as well (optics4u4less) and was really pleased with them.
Mine came from Hong Kong so it took about two weeks as well but I only paid $77 for what would have cost me about $400 here. (my eyes were very bad).
I got LASIK in December 2007 so I don’t need glasses or contacts any more ..but I highly recommend Zenni and Optics4U. They are great and the glasses look good.
