Week four (final) progress report
At the end of August, I committed to spending $125 or less in September on eating out. I spent a total of $31.75 during week four (September 22nd through 30th) which was an 8 day week to take the last day of the month into account. That brings my total for the entire month to $99.83. In other words, I did it!
I’m really happy that I met my goal. It’s made SUCH a huge difference having meals planned out. Apparently that “hm, what should we have for supper?” step was leading me to restaurants way too often in the past. I’m going to continue monitoring my eating-out spending weekly to be sure that I stay on target for future months, and continue planning out meals a month at a time.

Congrats on meeting your goal! That is our major money problem, eating out. It’s so easy and generally tastes better then what I cook :) but we have been doing better about eating at home… Anyway, Congrats again!
