Groucho Marx had this to say: “Money frees you from doing things you dislike. Since I dislike doing nearly everything, money is handy.”

I definitely equate money to freedom for my time. If I wasn’t in debt like I am now, I definitely wouldn’t be working my current day job. I could make enough money on a more casual freelance schedule and have more flexible time to enjoy.
I burn a lot of time commuting because I *need* to go to work and I really want to get those hours of my life back.
