I totally feel into the free tshirt trap – ugh. Thank goodness I wised up and climbed out of the debt (and the cycle) eventually.

I would like to second the internships are good and making contacts comments. I would also like to add that learning time management as well. I look back with more regret on the time I wasted way more than the money I “wasted”.

I understand what you say and it’s easy to look back and say things like this. I have done the same since in a lot of ways went through the motions and worried more about fun than my future, as do most college kids. Which is fine sometimes. But at the same time I wouldn’t want anything to change, because I have grown as a person and am who I am because of my experiences.
